Well last two days been flat out. Yesterday we did a full day tour about 10 hours out. We did a tour that took us all over Seattle and beyond . was a great tour and an excellent guide..very relaxing for us as no thinking about buses or were to next, just sit back and take it all in. In the afternoon after lunch and a look around Pike Place Market we went on the Boeing factory tour . wow what a mammoth place it is. They employ over 80,000 directly and indirectly and have orders for planes for the next 7 years!!

Did you know that Microsoft employs about 50,000 Amazon bout 35,000 and don't forget Starbucks who started here...the flagship store is near the market and has their original logo of a quite flabby looking mermaid ... This was changed to the slimmer one soon after!. Lots of great info on both tours.

Today we took the bus in to go to the Seattle Aquarium then on to a harbour trip. After doing both we had a light lunch of clam chowder!! Yum Jess you would have loved it :-! After lunch we do a good walk to the Underground tour. While we wait for it to start we had a nice drink at the bar and then we are off . pretty cool and so much history below the buildings... I have put a few pics of each thing so you get an idea.

We managed to get out of downtown a bit early today and had an early dinner at a local Georgetown saloon. Built in 1909 pretty cool.

Well off in the morning to fly to Calgary to start the Canada and Alaska leg of this trip...so till next time..cheers. PS...leave a message x
