Friday 7th August What a night!! We camped in the most picturesque spot, had a campfire and the usual cold bevvies. Today we left for an early start to Edith Falls. We wanted to get there early to beat the heat as it was quiet a hard walk although not too long. We arrived there nice and early before the crowds arrived and headed off for a 2.6km loop walk to the falls and back. Although it was quite a rough walk it was beautiful when we got there. Katherine 3&4 August Set the alarm for an early start as the plan was to be in Katherine tonight. More driving with a lot of the same to see. Stopped off at the Victoria River Roadhouse for a bite to eat and on the road again. After some 500kms of travelling we got to Katherine where we booked into the Shady Lane Caravan Park.
