Arrived in Zadar last night. The first half of the bus ride was gorgeous - rolling hills, grape fields, ocean and cliff views...then we headed inland. All I can say is that it's a good thing I did Plitvice Lakes National Park from Zagreb because there was snow everywhere! I was planning on staying in Zadar a few days and doing both national parks, but I do believe I'm going to skip Paklenica as I'm pretty sure there's now snow there and I can see that at home! Exploring Zadar city center today, cute but a little on the small side. But it's sunny again! Still fall nippy but the sun feels great so I'm not complaining. Tomorrow I'll set out early and explore Krka National Park on my way to Split. And I've decided Split is my shopping spot so looking forward to that! (Apparently its the shoe capital of Croatia lol) Heres hoping the temperatures continue to improve!
