A 1 night road stop turned into a 3 day break. We fell in love with the peaceful surroundings and met some really lovely people here who taugh me how to use my new fabby-dingle camera. Just a quickie here! Fun one night stay. This pub is full of character, bras hanging over the bar, undies, old licenses, money of all currency's, tradies shirts, uniform badges, like step toe and sons yard! Hilarious. Mataranka....quirky little place. Bitter springs more like creepy spring. Mikayla and I swam it, it's meant to be beautiful! We were there so reluctantly we went into the algae infested water and tried to stay in the middle which was crystal clear, this was challenging as along the creek were many massive cob webs with even bigger spiders hanging there above the water right near our heads! Welcome to the heat! Darwin is hot and humid. Litchfeild park (Itchfield Park) is magificent more beautiful waterfalls and big swimming holes. We camped at Wangi Falls great spot the girls were delighted to find some bush tucker! which they had learnt about during the horse riding at El Questro.
