After our Uk camper test run we thought we’d pop down to South Africa to visit Vanda’s brother and sister in law, Stefan and Naski. It was a big birthday for Naski (shhhh).
So after a 14 hour delay overnight from Heathrow we arrived to spend a week in Midrand near Johannesburg. We had a great time relaxing at their lovely home with them, their various animals and their friends.
Went for a lovely meal at a top notch restaurant, Black Bamboo, and partied hard at home too. Also visited a game reserve at Dinokeng and the Johannesburg military museum, both excellent.
Took pressies for both Naski and Stefan as it was his birthday a few days after we left.
We had a great time eating drinking and playing games. Who am I never fails to get a laugh but Note to self, avoid quiz games about cheese!
