After our Uk camper test run we thought we’d pop down to South Africa to visit Vanda’s brother and sister in law, Stefan and Naski. It was a big birthday for Naski (shhhh). So after a 14 hour delay overnight from Heathrow we arrived to spend a week in Midrand near Johannesburg. The plan for our trip is coming together, some parts are fixed due to flights or meeting up with friends but a lot remains flexible to allow us the fun of lingering where we like and moving on when we wish. We've had a great time on our test run around England. We've visited the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Lichfield, Doncaster, Harrogate, Stockton on Tees, Rutland Water, Crawley, Hove. The camper behaved well. We managed about 36mpg over the 20 days, and learnt that 60 mph is the happy speed for smoothing the rattles and noises. We've worked hard to reduce the rattles of the crockery etc... We still have a noise much like an excited budgy at about 50mph that ...
