After a lazy and relaxed couple of days in National park, mainly due to bad weather we were on the move again. Kerrys bus was coming back through National Park and heading to Auckland so we jumped on to head north. Bus journey wasn't too bad and was long enough for us to catch a movie along the way, movie about Johnny Cash - not too bad. …

re: Franz Joseph, New ZealandJames Vivian Sounds like you had a great time at the farm, I remember apart from as you said "shed like" accommodation which wasn't to pleasant but the place itself is absolutely stunning and I remember the hike around there aswel! We failed to find the "split apple" I think we were searching for nearly 2 hours before giving up!! But yeah that's definitely a place to start in terms of scenery.
re: Abel Tasman National Park, New ZealandBrian Donaghy Sounds fantastic folks ! Seems like some serious hiking lies ahead for us - we started practising around the Blue Mts for a few days there - keep er lit - Brian and Caoimhe
re: Abel Tasman National Park, New ZealandBrian D haha Brilliant - it's like the rest of the house got destroyed in a twister lol
re: Luxurious eh??James Vivian Well judging from the fact that you went with Stray I can safely say you will most certainly have an amazing time with them, I'm glad you took our advice on not trying the other "Old Folks" as you rightfully put and party bus companies, also I heard campervans in the Winter are not so fun at night so bullet skipped I think! Really jealous you got to go to Kaikoura as I've heard nothing but good things about the place and also I really wanted to go whale watching so I will definitely be checking out the pictures on your Facebook pages soon!!!!
