Travelled across from Oahu to the island of Maui, which is more tranquil than the Americanised Honolulu. Our hotel was lovely, with a nice pool area, where we spent our first day of just relaxing since we've been away. On Friday 25 September, we hired a car and spent the morning driving the Hana Highway and then hiking up to Twin Falls. Late afternoon we drove to a beautiful beach, met our minister and photographer and .... got married!! The beach was beautiful...

We succesfully navigated down Highway 1 in California from San Francisco to LA (wothout getting lost, even though Jude was navigating). A particular highlight was Santa Barbara, which is a lovely trendy Californian town with a distinctly Spanish feel to it. This was almost tarnished by "the Terminator" attempting to extort money from us by way of a ridiculous parking violation!
