Dubrovnik -- September 6 We awoke early and dragged our buts down to the ferry terminal and boarded our huge ferry to Dubrovnik. We camped out for the 4 hour trip in the café on the upper deck. Cheap cappuccinos and an incredible view of Korcula as we ferried away made the trip extremely enjoyable. The only "problem" were the gale force winds that buffeted us when we went out on deck for pictures! The weather was rainy at the start, but quickly cleared off...

Korcula -- September 5 We woke up to something we haven't yet seen on the trip – rainclouds! The forecast called for rain, but we figured we’d get a jump start on some sightseeing before it started to rain. We went up to the tower for a view over the town of Korcula. A very picturesque and quaint place with atmospheric lanes and substantial walls. We stopped for a cappuccino and lingered for awhile as the skies looked like they were about to open up....

Hvar -- September 4 We got up early (as usual) and went to buy our ferry tickets to Hvar (42 kuna each). We then paid Ivo for our wonderful room in Split before heading to the open air produce market to stock up on provisions. What an amazing market Split has! Beautiful fruits and vegetables (all organic!). Efren was thrilled to find roasted chicken and he devoured 2 legs for breakfast! Craig was happy with cappuccino and a chocolate croissant. Split -- September 3 We got to the Mostar bus station a few minutes before our 7am departure. Bought some water and postcards and were on our way. The bus was very comfortable and was practically empty. The first few kilometers we climbed and climbed and we were feeling a bit queasy. About 1 hour later we arrived at Medugorje, a very famous site of particular interest to Catholics. We kept on moving and about 1 hour later crossed into Croatia. The border crossin...
