The lobby of the building housing the Deloitte office was a treat to the eye. The atrium was spacious with clean modern lines (such a contrast to much of the historical architecture around the city). The staircase was spiral and open. We gathered here as we arrived for our meeting.

Taking the tram to our visit at Deloitte this morning. The public transportation here is efficient and we have taken to it with ease. Traveling by tram, bus and subway has added to the cultural experience of the city.

It's difficult to imagine places we read about in history books. Walking the passageways once frequented by the Habsburg royalty and other Czech rulers is both humbling and awesome! We now have special memories of this magnificent place and a deep appreciation of the history created on these grounds. Our tour guide, Vaclav proved to be a very special teacher.

The Prague castle is a jewel of this country. Home of its past monarchs, history is tucked into every crevice. The soaring towers, stained glass windows, and watchful gargoyles provided inspiration to our touring. Notice the Czech flag waving proudly in this picture.
