When were got on the bus at Mission Beach it was slowly daunting on us that this was our last "Oz Experience" bus journey....it was quite sad really as it felt like the end of a chapter. I was greeted on the bus by a driver that we had had in Byron bay and he said TRACY I REMEMBER YOU!!! it's nice to know that in one bus ride and a trip to surf camp I can make such an impression! ha ha On the way to cairns the bus stops at a Crocodile farm, a real life...

We had been told that the place to stay in Mission Beach was Scottys. A smallish hostel located right by the beach. On arriving there was a highly strung bird or reception and she was so rude to Bev i wanted to smack her...resisting this temptation we were taken to our room...a 5 bed dorm with its own fridge and bathroom....luxury! There was a fab pool which was surrounding by the dorm rooms. The sun was shining and all was good....except for the sweating...sorry...
