Kaikoura is a little town right by the sea. We travelled here from Christchurch as it is on the way up to the North Island. Our drive from Westport was rather long... this wazs broken up by us visiting a gorgeous Seal colony. The views were amazing, cliffs jutting out into the sea and huge waves sploshing everywhere.
