Paul & Stephanie's Sabbatical in Peru
We wanted to write a quick update as we have finished the Inca Trail. It was a LOT of work but we made it to Machu Picchu - it was amazing.
Our trek was very memorable as we traveled with a couple from Columbia, 3 from Switzerland, a young man from China, 4 from Brasil, and about 10 Argentinians. The porters were amazing carrying group gear (actually running it up and down the trail) and preparing meals.
We are now resting in Aguas Calientes. We will upload photos and maybe some video a bit later when we have our computer, which we did not carry with us on the 42km trek! Thanks for checking in and following us!

Jenn Herron Congrats on completing the Inca Trail! I thought about you this morning as the sun rose, wondering if you were able to experience the glorious sunrise in Machu Picchu. Not that I have seen it, but can only imagine how amazing it must be. Uptown Machu Picchu is the closest I've been to the area. Enjoy your well deserved rest. Thanks for the update!
