We made it to Lima safe and sound, and thanks to Stephanie we had a taxi waiting for us to take us to our hostel. We are one hour later than those of you in the central time zone, so it's just after midnight now and we're ready for some sleep after a long day. Thanks for all your prayers as we traveled. By the way, it was 70 degrees when we landed at 10pm :)

Well, we did it! Packing as "light" as possible, we have our carry on luggage and no checked bags :). For those of you that love playing Tetris, this might be a high score. After a short night of sleep, we arrived at the airport with plenty of time to check in and grab a snack. We're now waiting for our flight to Atlanta and then to Lima! Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers as we took care of last minute details. Paul & Stephanie

Saying goodbye to Dash... As much as I love my family, my friends, my church...I think I'll have the hardest time without Dash at my side. He's an excellent companion, source of positive energy, and in my opinion, the greatest dog on earth. We're leaving him in the trustworthy hands of my sister's family, where he will have his two dog cousins, Maggie and Ramon, as constant playmates. He'll be fine...it's more me that I'm worried about! Adios mi perro, mi amig...
