Have been enjoying reading of your adventures, though some obviously more challenging than enjoyable. (e.g. Chilean wind, lost camera, stolen wallet). How good is your Spanish now?
Hope you make it back none the worse and more enriched from the experience.
Best wishes for 2008.

COLLIN!
Your trip is sounding more and more amazing as it goes along. I can't believe all the stories, I LOVE THEM! I hope all is well and that the holiday time isn't getting to you too much.... I'm thinking of you, and I can't wait until we are all back in the ham swapping stories!
Love, Meghan

Collin,
I ran into your dad today at a truckers' memorial for Dale Harris. Dale (Joe Harris' dad) died in a trucking accident. There were nearly 100 semi-trucks in the parade.
WAY TO GO with your adventure! I wish you the best and enjoy every minute of it. Some day an adventure like yours, maybe a little smaller, will come my way. I am scoutmaster for troop one which keeps me busy and gives me gray hair. I love working with the youth.
Be safe and enjoy life.

Haha! Collin, your travelblog sounds like something out of a Lonely Planet adventure book. That must mean you are doing something right! Keep it up! And never forget your towel!

I did get your postcard and called caitlin and read it to her. I miss you so much. Glad you are having a blast. Life is good. WEAR SUNSCREEN!
Dad
Collin, Got the dinosaur up and running and the connection is decent today. Have only had to reconnect twice so far. Pictures are great and this site is pretty slick. What a great way to keep up with your adventure. Warmed up to +20 here today, no new snow. Wonder what your day is like. Have a good one. DAD

Collin! You're awesome! I was just thinking about you today, and then I checked the WWU Cycling messageboard and saw your post. Cool stuff, it looks like you're having a grand ol' time. Keep the posting coming, it's great to experience another traveler's journey secondhand..except for malaria pills. I don't have any desire at this juncture in life to experience those quite yet. But all the rest, the firehouses, the Incan ruins, and all of the llama (or alpaca) pics that you want to include. The more the better!
Anyway, I'm writing from Lisbon, Portugal at a time when I should most definitely be sleeping, so I'll stop here. ¡Que te cuides!
Tchau!

Collin!!!!
Dude, it looks like you're having the time of your life. That's so cool what you're doing. Stay safe, but anyways, looks like you're doing good. Remember that you've always got lots of pple 'rooting for you....keep on posting!

Hi baby brother,
I will try not to panic as I think of your adventures...You must have some very high serotonin levels, while I worry about everything, up to and including BEARS!!! (must be my mom's genes)
It looks as though you are having a wonderful time. Thanks for posting the pictures so I can live vicariously through you. I could look into making a blog on my doctoral program, but somehow I doubt images of lectures on instructional supervision, budgeting and educational philosophy would have the same impact as say a volcano. Just a thought. I could be wrong...
Are you enjoying the malaria pills? Had any great hallucinations yet? Still it is better then the alternative I'm told.
Awfully odd seeing a message here from our aunt. Hi other family members! Hi to Louise too if your reading this. -no real way to say hi other then this.
Take care and be safe, or I'll have to do something drastic, like follow you down there, which would not be pretty, let me tell you.
