Today we say goodbye to Hanoi and its lovely people. We had dinner last night at Koto, which is a restaurant set up to help street kids to gain skills they can use to get a job and break the cycle. We met some of the trainees and they are so eager to ease and grateful for the opportunity they have. One girl said to me that Koto is her family because she does not have one. She said it is her dream to come to Australia one day. I hope she makes it and I'm sure she will.
We are catching a 1pm flight to Singapore and then on to Sydney arriving early morning. Wendy will be traveling business class as the insurance company managed to get her an upgrade.
