On Tuesday, 12th August, we are off to Niagara Falls. Jill is driving us all to Niagara & we are staying at a B&B on the Lake. As Jill used to live in Toronto, Canada, she is taking us across the border plus showing us around Niagara Falls. Karen, Rick & I are flying back from Buffalo to JFK Airport on Thursday, 14th August, so if you don't hear from us before then, we will update our adventures there when we get back.

Today we ventured out into the world after spending Sunday lazing around & recovering from Karen's 50th Birthday Party which actually finished at 4am Sunday morning. People do not sleep in New York - the street & some restaurants & bars were still a hive of activity when we were walking home. On arrival at LAX Airport this morning, the cue line was out onto the street, which was a bit daunting. Finally, after about an hour in line, we arrived at check-in to find it is all automated. Going thru the steps would not allow us to get onto our designated flight but the next one !!!! Horror, we have to get on that flight !!! Have to have an early night tonight as we have a 7.30am pickup to LAX Airport flight to New York at 10.30am. Going to "Happy Hour" to catch up on all the latest gossip from our barmaid friend and the reality TV shows here in LA - there are 22 TV channels !!!
