Shanghai was like you would expect, a mix of old and new. Didnt do very much, went on a tour that took us to a tea ceremony, which was nice and resulted in us buying some tea...And a silk factory.. which resulted in us buying a number of silk duvets. (which had to be surreptitiously smuggled onto the plane as hand luggage to avoid a hefty fee, well done to us.)
