Luc ooh yes, definitely ask for me. As i say, it's not definite with paragon yet, and being freelance i can pick and choose. mum A coventry writer called Geoff Thompson has close links with where I work and has written a play called fragile. He has funding and has been in discussion with an actor so Im guessing it will be one of the small theatres but West end all the same. I was going to ask him if he had the set sorted out yet thats all. Other than that the guys at masqueraders are looking forward to seeing you. Luc Ah i know, i'm counting down, cannot wait to see you now, it's so close. This is our last day in new york, so we're going to the big art gallery in central park, and maybe over the bridge to Brooklyn tonight. Then tomorrow we fly to Toronto for just 1 week before home time-yay!!! Luc Oh good! I did not want to get stuck in an ash cloud!!! I need to come home and see all you guys now Not that i want to end my time in new york. We arrived after a red eye yesterday morning and checked in to the yale club. There's a dress code here and we arrive looking like trampy gypsies in our best shirts and boots-uh oh! Met up with chris's friend matt, who took us for drinks and steak (with his parents too) Was really nice, especially having drinks in a bar that gives you big red dressing gowns to snuggle in outside! mum Hurray the uk airports are all reopened and flights are arriving and departing almost normally so hopefully by the time my girlies are due to fly we should be pretty much back to normal. Lucy Yeah, it's hit us hard here! £5 a pint!!!! We're in a funny little room on Vancouver Island now. It's so small Chris can't actually fit on the bed because of the sloping ceiling! We fly to New york tomorrow and can't wait! I'm so excited! And we have free accommodation at the Yale Club (courtesy of an ampleforth friend) so we will have a few more pennies/cents to see some sites. mum Hiya sweetie volcanic ash is not a problem to us at all as we were not trying to fly anywhere at the moment. We keep getting told it is there but we have been unable to see it. Went to help Aunty Sheila move her pots from the garden to her new house yesterday. Boy has she got alot! Apart from that we had a pretty quiet weekend really. It looks as if Matthew and Charlie have decided that they are unable to fund a trip to South America so Im not sure what they are thinking of doing now. Its a shame you cant do much in Vancouver as you never know if you ll get back there again. Still I guess that you are just biding your time now till you get back to wonderful sunny nunny!
