Hi again
Well we have been totally spaced and themed parked out now (Toby and Cass might disagree on that point tho'). The space centre was unbelievable and well worth the two days we took, as there was so much to see and do. Went to heaps of shows, on rides, had lunch and photos with an astronaut and toured the facilities. We were lucky as they had two shuttles up on the launch pads ready to go, one to the Hubble on the 20th and the other to rescue the astronauts if anything goes wrong - a really interesting place!!
Then on to Orlando, first two days at the Universal Parks and then two at Disney World. God, the rides get bigger and better each time. I even went on the De Stuker a very high and very steep water slide!!! Really fun but action packed days. The Diasney Safari park was awesome, Monarto could incorporate a few ideas, we drove in close and personal to giraffes, elephants with babies, rhino etc etc - great!!!
Then down to Miami for a night, our hostel was one street back from Miami beach and was on the street with all the designer stores - much to Cassie's delight but perhaps not so much to her wallet.
So far the weather only rained on the drive up to Cape Kennedy but was gone in time to put up the tents, and a little sprinkle in one of the parks, the rest of the time has been beautiful. Flew out to Vegas yesterday having waved Cassie goodbye at the airport. Report from there soon.
