Had a lye in until 9.30 & got into the shower while Emma slept. Sorted out our bags AGAIN (which i hate doing) and went for breakfast at 12 ish. Had toast which i really missed and it was good! Went to an internet cafe to update sites and catch up with home then out for dinner to Pizza Hut at 4. Met with all the group at 6 to leave for the night train from Xi'an to Shanghi. Simple day for a simple girl... Night.

Can't remember much about yesterday. Went into the market place to look at the gifts & met up with some of the group. We all arranged to meet back at the hotel and have few drinks before heading into bar street. We got matching t-shirts. Woke up on the train at 6 by the lights being turned on. Everyone groaned and moaned but had a few hours sleep. I haven't said about the asian toilets yet. They are an experience in themselves. Just a hole in the floor. Usually piss all over the floor as the blokes prob don't squat to wee but us ladies do for both jobs!. Getting used to them but nothing better than a propper sit down jobby. After a bad nights sleep, we had planned the night before to meet the girls for breakfast at 9 but stayed in bed for a while longer til 10. Mini bus was leaving at 11 to take us to the train station to go to Xi'an. We arrived at the station to find it very busy & everyone all over the floor waiting. Early start at 8 for a 3 hr bus ride to the Great Wall. Had a good journey & got there just after 11. Went straight to the wall & left our back packs with the driver to meet us at the other end. There was a treck up to the wall to begin with & the local sellers followed us & tried flogging all the way. There are 62 towers on the wall, over 5,000km long. We were gonna do 30 of them!
