Walked more of the terraces with the guide of Farmer Tang (legend). Ended up in Pingan. He had many stories to tell.
Went to lunch in a remote village where a bunch of local women prepared food for our group of 18. They had no warning of us arriving and all clubbed together to cook together. We paid them of course. Was fascinating to watch as everything was so basic.
The houses had an open downstairs where the animals slept, the middle floor was the eating/sleeping/cooking/general communial area & upstairs was for storage (dried meat hanging up above the fire below to smoke it, chilli's, clothes, rice etc).
We stayed at LiQing hotel where we called our Mums as it would have been the morning of mother's day.
The local woman put on a traditional show for our group with singing, dancing & bamboo poles. They involved the group & we joined in with a bride & groom dance followed by a bamboo dodge dance!!
Was a funny night and 1 to remember.
I rocked at it (of course - see video) & Emma & I had a dance off where we head buttted each other!
