Chiang Mai
Right the hard work was about to start we left bangkok and headed to donmung airport to get our flight to chiang mai our airline was called 1..2..go hmmm scary hey i was just hoping it was 1..2..crash ha ha, plane journey was cool and it wasn't a little plastic plane plane which i thought it would be, flight was cool only took 1 hour to get to chiang mai sweeeet, had a transfer pick us up from the airport to our our hotel the travel agent booked us called Winner Inn looked a bit crusty people are so lovely thou and so helpful, rooms looked a bit crusty too like a old people's home towels were like sand paper (but i am sure when i get back from the trek this hotel will look like a palace compared to our hut in the jungle trek)haha... chiang mai is quite a cool little village all little book shops, bike garages, markets, seven elevens of course, loads of nail and massage shops, a lot quiter then bangkok and not many smelly food stools so happy days, after we checked in on our first day, we went for a look around, went on the net, then you guessed it we went for another massage, this one was better no karate chops on this one ha ha, after that went for a nice italian then went to the night market....
Next Morning (Day of the trek)...
We was up for about 8am as getting picked up the jungle trek at 9am we got picked up a jeep thing there was loads of us, including us 4 girls, 3 boys from canada,2 germans.3 french guys, and 3 thai tour gides, after we got picked up our first stop was the police station to all get checked out, then it was off to the market to get stuff for dinner, didn't look to yummy to be honest after that it was about 2 hours all more drive to get to the truck was full, me and claude were squashed in back with these french people talking non stop the whole(actually even made me and claude seem quite) jen and kel luckly enough had a nice seat in the front with driver listern to tunes, finally after 2 hours we stopped for lunch we sat we another group of boys from Oz was quite nice i must add unfortnately there wasn't in our group i must of liked em as i even let them have some of our special fried rice, lunch was quite nice not that we ate much there was special friend rice, curry potatoe things, veg followed by melon and pineapple, after that cave man decided to scar as with a big fat bug (not funny at all) ha ha check the picture out.... finally we arrived at the start of the trek we got ready mosquito spray on and pack packs on and water ready the start of the trek was so hard all up hill up and up we went i just keep running a bit at time as i thought if i dont do it quick i never get up the blasted mountain, sweat was pouring off us and i was a red as a tomartoe just kept at it time and time again didnt moan at all but i dont think even had a enpuigh breath to moan anyway it was a total killer at times but after time we came to flat bits of land so get a little easier all i kept thinking was thank god i was 2 stone lighter then i use to be or i def would have had a heart attack literally, i was thinking maybe i shouldn't of spent the last month going out 4 all them drinks, lunches and nights out with the girls, family meals etc anyway it was all to late for that now i just kept at it, thought i was stong, kelly did really well was right up front with the boys steaming a head while me jen and claude were together with the rest of the group poor cave man and his son from france were quite way behind the cave man had big fat leather hiking boots, i was like are u mad he took off and walked all the bare foot what a cave man, he looked a bit crazy but seemed a nice guy at heart, finally after a hour we got to the first waterfall we all just stripped off and went for a dip it was amazing so freezing cold, one of the french guys stripped off had a body to die for so i just stood there with my mouth open like a dope ha ha the day seemed to look alot brighter ha ha
after that we carried on treking it was a total kiler but a really good experince so many beatiful views see loads of animals and out tour guides were lovely one which like to be called john terry as he loved football, but supported man utd(dad u would of like him) he was only 20 always smiling and playing jokes trying to scare us and play fight with us took a liking to kelly especially and even hold my bag most of the way(he was now my best friend) maybe men aren't bad after all ha ha.... we finally arrived at ou sleeping hut in chiang mai see all the chiang mai family so many animals every where like dogs and puppies, pigs, bulls, chickens, kids were really cut had such dirty clothes(just wanted to clean the up) he he that night we all sat around the table together had dinner rice and veg, soup, fruits etc me and the girls didn't like it so we did a sly one and kept feeding the dogs under the table he he, we had quite a laugh but it was so cold in the jungle we all sat around the camp fire which was beaut then we went to bed, def was the worst night of my life we all huddled up in our 100 clothes i looked a rite salt had jeans on leggings over the top socks pulled up,2 tops, jumper, silly hat, and was in a sleeping bag and blankets and was still freezing me and jen was hugging 4 life but was still so cold that night, felt like the longest night i had my ipod on the whole night nothink like a bit of lionell baby when u cant sleep, in the middle of the night me and jen just couldnt hold it any longer we had to go 4 a wee in the mighty jungle so me and jen and guard do went 4 a wee after returning trying take my trainers off cave man who had been snoring all night let off the biggest fattest fat(sick) right near my head... jen was like claire was that you ha ha i was like no way ha ha cave man what a ledge... that morning we had toast and fruit, then our group split us we were doing a extra night and the others werent so they headed to the elephant trek while we had a 2 hour trek to the waterfall see walk wasnt so bad and we arrived at the beautiful waterfall where i sleeping hut was, we had a little dip in the waterfall but it was freezing, so i went for a little trust kip in the hut after that i joined the girls round the camp fire with john terry and the other thai man at the waterfall called toby we all played cards together and had dinner, after another long night we trek for about a hour to the elephant trek we had to walk over a big scary bridge with a bannana plant for the elephant, elephants were so massive ride was good but me and jen nearly fell off when the elephant wlaked down the steap hills, we also went through the water and feed the elephant bannana's x
