Hello, I’ve arrived safely in Australia after a mammoth of a journey. I’m going to tell you about it because I’m proud that I made it with no hiccups. I left Chumpon on Thursday night to catch an 8 hour overnight train to Bangkok, scary experience!! From the train station in Bangkok I got a taxi to the airport. I had a few hours wait in the airport and then a 3 hour flight from Bangkok to Singapore. I had to run through Singapore airport to catch my next flight to Sydney, just about made it!! Then it was 7 hours on the plane from Singapore to Sydney. I left Singapore at 7 in the evening, had a 7 hour plane journey, and arrived in Sydney at 6am. So without realising it was happening I missed a night’s sleep. Then I had to get a train from the airport in Sydney to Sydney’s Central Station, where I had to wait for 4 hours for my train journey to Molong, which meant I didn’t arrive in Molong until Saturday night. Phew!!!I’m here now anyway and I have almost caught up with my sleep. I’m staying with Rhoma who is one of my Nan’s cousins and her husband John. I’ve already met my distant relative Bob (Rhoma’s brother and another of my Nan’s cousins). Bob has lived in Australia for years but still has a thick Scouse accent. Today one of Rhoma's daughters is coming with her 3 boys. On Christmas Eve I’m going with Rhoma and John to visit Aunty Evelyn. She is my late Great Grandmothers sister. She is still rocking at 99 years old.So it’ll be a busy lead up to Christmas! I’l write again soon! I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A FABULOUS CHRISTMAS!!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OZ!!!!!!
