Hey there! Well the day after my fast finished, I packed my bags and headed to the other side of the island and have been staying at Lamai Beach, the next beach on from Chaweng. I am staying at a place called New Hut Bungalows, which has small, but neat little bungalows lined up right on the beach front. So the past few days I have rolled out of bed, walked up to the markets to buy my morning fruit and plonked my derriere on the beach. Life's tough eh! Thought a new bikini was in order, so I visited Chaweng Beach to check it out and see what everyone raves about. It's really busy perve patrol and full of overweight foreign men sporting speedos and trying to pick up the local girls... nothing like a red faced, sweaty neanderthal (who you would swear has never set eyes on the female species before) trying to get a piece of the action. Anyway, its a great place if you are here to shop for an armani inspired suit or a new wife. As for the bikini, hmmmm, well all I can say is the thai cozzies are the most hideous creations I have ever clapped my eyes on... god knows where they get their creative insipiration from, I'll stick to my old one! So, the feet are itchy so I'm hopping over to another island called Koh Pha Ngan, a little smaller than Samui and home of the infamous Full Moon Parties... needless to say I will NOT be attending the party (which incidentally is on my birthday), but rather heading on the other side to chill out for a week. I must be getting old! ;)
