Hi Everyone! So we are now in Singapore, Hoorah! It pretty much how you would expect it to be - skyscrapers, pretty gardens etc (or thats how I expected it to be) We arrived last night and had a really useful taxi driver who gave us a mini guided tour of the place - pointed out Raffles...unfortunately we wont be staying there but will definately drop in for a Singapore Sling. Today we headed to Orchard Road (where all the shopping malls are...you girls wil be delighted to know that there are loads!) Thankfully they are all air conditioned as well...its a little warm here. Shouldnt really complain but its the humidity more than anything! Mum / Dad you will be delighted to know that I didnt buy anything as they've brought out the winter clothes - though I have to question who exactly will be wearing it?! We are in t-shirts and shorts, attempting to stay cool while they're currently selling big wool coats!!! Singapore itself has a really nice feel to it...well what we've seen of it so far. We plan to go on a city tour tomorrow to see a bit more of the place ad take a few photos! Anyway, hope you are all well?! ps. the reason for the orangutan is that there arent any photos for Singapore in the drop down selection. I dont think we'll be spotting many of them here in Singapore!
