Sorry there are no photos. I spent an hour trying to get them on only to have the battery die as we finally got the hang of it! Will try again tomorrow night!!! Had another great day. Beautiful sunshine made for a fantastic trip to Alcatraz with stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge (even better than when we were actually on the bridge as there was no fog!) and San Francisco. Richard was well behaved so I decided to scrap the plan of leaving him there!Afterwards we trekked up to the curviest street in the world and then hiked back to the hotel, exhausted! We're both very tired....the map doesn't tell you which streets are near vertical! We're leaving for Santa Barbara tomorrow and have decided to stay there the majority of the next day instead of going to LA, which was proving more trouble than it was worth to organise. Instead we will stay over the night, as planned, in Santa Barbara, enjoy the beach the next day and travel straight to San Diego. Much more relaxed! Thank you to Uncle Peter for offering to buy us lunch in LA but we would have missed you even if we had still been visiting the city. Feeling on top form again so everyone can fully relax now. Fingers crossed there will be no more hiccups on the journey. Felt rather homesick today and missed my Mummy! Glad you had a nice holiday.
