From Tucumcari onwards to Santa Fe today, and it's another relatively short driving day so we had given ourself time to relax this morning and set off at leisure. Check out was 10am anyway so that gave us a time to aim for. We started the morning with a run around the town, through all the residential streets, getting an insight into the locals. Today has been great! We drove from Amarillo to Tucumcari in New Mexico, just 113 miles, so we treated ourselves to a lazy morning and a later start. I can barely remember this morning to know where to start this post. Every day here seems the equivalent of 2 or 3 at home, as we seem to be packing so much in! Tuesday morning and we wake up around 6am, we're getting there! We decided to look at our route today whilst enjoying the comfort of the huge luxury bed and discover the journey to Springfield, Missouri is around 200 miles... 100 less than yesterday so we figured around 6-8 hours driving time.
