Today was officially day two of our road trip. We got up early and drove up Highway 11 then 10 towards Cape Reinga, the most northern point of New Zealand. Day 2 - it already feels like we have been here a week! Our driving adventure began today.... First of all a trip to the supermarket, biscuits, crisps and a nice bottle of Red and we were all set to begin our road trip! We arrived safely in Auckland this morning after over 30 hours travelling. The flights were really good, if long! We had to try and stay awake on the first flight and we just about managed it, even though it landed in LA at what felt like 4am. As soon as we got on the second flight we went to sleep so hopefully we won't be too jet lagged! At last, the long awaited day has come!! We made it in very good time - no first class upgrade at the check-in, dammit! We are currently sat waiting for the gate to open, which the lady at the desk warned us is a million miles away! So getting the running shoes ready...... So the battle of the suitcases?
