Hey there! Our three day Fraser Island 4WD camping tour was amazing! This is Lake McKenzie, a freshwater lake in the centre of the island. It must be another of the most beautiful places in the world... we are really being spoiled on the east coast of Australia! While we were there, we saw a wedding party... it's easy to see why they chose the location! Fraser Island was a such a good laugh. We drove down 75 Mile Beach, explored the Mahino shipwreck, defended our dinner from hungry dingoes and aggressive goanas, and swam in lakes so pure that you can drink the water. We had a spot of bother with a flat tyre at sunset, and later braved the campsite loo where a 6 inch Huntsman spider was dangling from the ceiling... yikes! We are now in Brisbane, catching up with friends and chilling out for a few days. Next stop the Gold Coast. More later..... Love, the sheilas xx
