So that's it. Our wonderful honeymoon has come to an end. Which also means that you won't get any more facebook updates about this blog. For those that have read our little adventures and stories, thank you. The blog was always meant to be a way that we could write down our memories so that we wont forget the things we have done. It was also a way for our parents to keep an eye on us too, although thanks to Facebook and Facetime it's not been as much of an issue this time round. Knowing that other friends and family have also taken the time to read and comment on these little stories really means a lot to us so thank you!


We have been to over 20 countries, rode on over 100 buses and seen so many amazing places. We have met so many amazing people. We have eaten some great food and some terrible food. We have been drunk. We have been poorly. We have been to the end of the world and back. We have actually increased our list of places we still want to see. We have fallen in love with monkeys. We have sandboarded. We have eaten duck brain. We have eaten horse poo. We have been devoured by mosquitoes. We have drunk a lot of wine. We have been scared. We have laughed a lot. We have been robbed. We have learned a language. We have fallen out. We have hiked. We have seen wonders of the world. We have hated things. We have loved things. We have drove thousands of miles in a campervan. We have seen penguins. We have been stared at. We have been attacked. We have haggled prices. We have helped elephants. We have gone for days and days without sleep. We have rode a carousel on a cruise ship. We have seen the sun rise and set several times. We have climbed thousands of steps. We have seen a dinosaur's footprint and a dinosour's vagina. We have seen human embryos. We have seen poverty. We have hiked 80km in 4 days. We have lost a toenail from this hike. We have attended a Chinese tea party. We have inhaled the smoke of dead bodies. We have been lost. We have been stroked. We have met some amazing people. We have met some *******. We have argued with people. We have seen wonders of the world. We have swam in pirhana infested waters. We have slept in hammocks. We have been chased by wild dogs. We have chased wild dogs. We have nearly stood on a poisonous snake. We have co-created a new national holiday. We have seen whales. We have seen volcanoes. We have seen a dragon. We have been speechless. We have been sunburnt. We nave not regretted any of it. (Apart from maybe the robbery. That was a little bit ****.)

So hopefully we will see all of our old friends soon and hopefully we will be able to catch up with some of our new ones soon too. Please be advised that we are likely to enter serious depression in the next week or so, so please tread carefully.

Please don't ask us if we are happy to be back or when do we start back at work. It's very nice to see everyone but other than that that we'd quite happily be jetting off to do it all again! We'll just have to see what happens next...
