Woke up this morning to another cloudy day in Bangkok, but this time it was raining. Not your piddly little showers that we get at home, this was monsoon rain - pretty cool really! Didn't really do much during the day as we had to check out of our guest house as we are leaving for Chiang Mai tonight. Great start to the morning today...David deleted the last photo's of Koh Chang we hadn't yet put on the computer - that went down well for the first hour. May have even woken a few of the other guests up aswell to our pleasant discussion. In the afternooon we decided to head to Lumphini Park. It's a bit like Hyde Park if anything - a great escape from the city and the fumes. After a brief stroll we went to the snake farm, the second only snake farm in the world...

Had a nice long lie in this morning - needed it after a lot of early mornings! When we eventually surfaced we walked to the train station (just up the road according to David...in the blazing heat and not knowing where your going in a huge foreign city, 'just up the road', is never a good option!). Early start for us this morning as we decided yesterday to head back to Bangkok, in the hope that we can get up to Chiang Mai in the next few days. W have had yet another relaxing day in Bang Bao - getting used to this! Spent the day lounging around and looking round the shops on the pier. When it was time to actually do something we went again to one of the restaurants on the pier.
