Today we rode the quad to Ancient Thira the original settlement of Santorini. The ride up the hill was an experience on it's own. (see photos) We checked out the ruins etc, then went down to Kamari beach for lunch & a swim. The beach is different from most as the sand is black( I mean black and pebbly rock) but the water was still crystal clear. Had a drink at the Mama Mia bar before heading home round 5. ( 3 ouzo's) in half hr, ps there are no rules on the island.) then we met up with our Aussie friends( Colin & Martina Mick also known as mykonos & Lisa) for a farewell dinner at Mama's restaurant. Was the most fantastic meal yet. ( Perfecto ) we then headed up town for some dancing, & then parted ways. Until we meet again in Australia.
