Just about to leave the south island in NZ to go to Auckland and the north island. Should be there about lunchtime . Had a few nights with paul and becky Well we have done lots if places driven thousands of miles, stayed in lots of motels, thanks to James Polden for the use of the hot hatch. Have loads of photos as you can imagine with me. Next another plane trip.

We drove from wanaka to the fox glacier, and stopped off at some rivers, to see waterfalls, and the beach, in both places got attacked by sandflys, the worst at the beach, as we opened the car door, 200 flew in. There was then the battle of sandfly hill. Last night we stayed at fox glacier and went into the woods to see the glow worms- speak soon

We had a late start, and set of to Greymourh, then onto our night stop near the amazing stones, photos will show soon, so very hard to get a phone signal or wifi in new Zealand

We have been on an adventure today, we went 'floating' down the river Clutha on a variety of objects! 4 of us ended up in the river unintentionally but sheberight or sweetas as some of the locals say and it was a happy ending as no one was hurt and we had a good laugh about it.
