After a 550 kilometre drive we arrived for a one night pit stop in Adelaide. A long scenic journey to get here with very straight roads! We entertained ourselves by waving to drivers in oncoming cars (I know!!), worked though!

We had a wander around the city, a dip in the pool. We had dinner with Gina & her family in Hove, they have the perfect beach front spot - definite pool envy. We are back at the hotel after a lovely evening, up early for a 7am flight!

We head North to the sunshine of Port Douglas and the Barrier Reef, the next 11 days are the down time of our break. It's been fantastic to explore & adventure but I don't think I could get away with going back to work in need of a holiday!!
