Happy Easter 2014!
Met Sami & Grandkids at the Comfort Suites at Penn State University, in State College, PA, on Thursday, April 17, 2014 (the day before Good Friday) thru Saturday, April 19, 2014. A 7-hour drive for us and a 5-hour drive for Sami. We used our points with Bluegreen/Choice Hotels .

We hadn't seen them since last Fall (2013) so we figured this would be a fun 3day/2night adventure for the grandkids. We shared a Deluxe Hotel Room with 2 Large King Beds and a Sofa (which folds out for a 3rd bed) which Hannah claimed.
Thurs. - Day 1: We all arrived at the same time (about 3 pm) and got checked in. There was a TGIF at the end of the hotel parking lot so we 5 had a lovely dinner and drinks there. (Sami, Hannah, JJ, Chuck and Cheryl) JP had to work so he couldn't make the trip. Afterwards, walked back to the hotel. We swam, hot tubbed, laughed, played water games and by 9pm we were all pooped out. Goodnight!
Good Friday - Day 2: We went to "Fun Unleashed" indoor jungle climbing park for the kids, here is the link:

Then next door for lunch at Chick-fil-A. They had a free ice cream cone machine inside, so we all treated ourselves after lunch. Later we went to a park/playground to swing and slide. Back to hotel for more swimming. Then Sami drove us all and treated us to 2 large pizzas in downtown State College (a fave of the local college kids). It was yummy.
Later that night we played games and puzzles, hid easter eggs, and watched Disney movies on hotel TV. We gave the kids their Easter "brown bags of goodies" and they gave Cheryl a beautiful, long, pink, bathrobe for an early Mother's Day gift. LOVE IT.
Sat. - Day 3: We cleaned up the room, ate a big, free, hotel, buffet breakfast, packed our cars and home Chuck and Cheryl went. Sami and kids were meeting friends in Lancaster, PA for a few more nights of fun at a pirate ship hotel. What a fun 2014 EASTER for the grandkids!
