This is part 3 of our 3 city trip -

Day 7 (Sat., Sept. 21): Checked out of Econolodge in Massachusetts this morning after a great 2-day/2-night visit with Amy & Sean (and the city of Boston). We hit the road at 10am heading for the Canadian side of Niagara Falls which is a 9 hour drive. We take turns driving every 2-3 hours. Typically the BAD weather hits when Cheryl is behind the wheel and this trip was no exception. The last hour while we were crossing the border into Canada, a BIG rain storm hit making for terrible driving conditions. Lasted only 30 minutes. Checked into our Rodeway Inn at 7pm. A very nice room with walking distance to the Falls. We checked out the Falls at night, all lite up with colors, then out to a nice dinner.

Day 8 (Sun., Sept. 22): Showered, checked out of room, then took a tram rail down to the ground level of the Falls. We walked up and down the walkway and took the Maid of the Mist boat tour which puts you right next to the falls on a small boat. FUN. Then we grabbed a buffet brunch near our hotel and off for home we went, but only after stopping for 2 cases of Canadian Beer. It's was only a 5 hour drive home, so we were unpacked before dark. Home sweet home!
