Your last blog is so poignant - its time to go home. . . sniff sniff! I hope the journey was bearable (the films always help!) And welcome home to scotland! Hope its all in one piece. Im glad you had so many good times - makes it all worthwhile! China going well, cycled round the city wall of xi'an today - 2 hours and a sore bum later im done! x x x

Like the latest photos (17 Feb), especially the rusty vehicles. Don't want to be too pernickety but that isn't actually a proper fergie, it's much more modern than that. Don't be tempted to bring the bleached logs back, Air NZ will not be pleased if u turn up at the check in desk trailing great hunks of firewood. Weather has turned mild here after a brief two week winter. Probably just trying to fool us, expect there will be hailstones next week. Hope ur enjoying things, love Jeffrey and Violeta

Hello, like the latest photos, get an impression that life there is all about wine tasting, sunshine, flowers, sweet smelling soaps, can't be bad. Things are OK here, weather is coldish, but no great frosts or snow, no gardening going on yet though, enough time for that later. Now where did I put that hot water bottle...? Love Jeff and Vi

I seem to have lost an email from you. It wouldn't open, then disappeared into cyberspace. Got the one with the 'ps'. Areyou having lovely summer weather? It's pretty chilly here. Margaret

Excellent blog on Hong Kong, you tell a great story, and well done for finding a human spot at the monastery, in what sounds like an impersonal city. And, oh, thanks for not posting a photo of you eating with chopsticks, the description is vivid enough. Love and safe travelling. Jeffrey and Violeta
