Hello people,

It’s only been a few days but Herman is already having internet withdrawals!!

So since our last update we have been on the train for 4 days, we shared with two Russian guys both called Max! One is in the Russian air force and the other is a security guard/boxer (that drinks a litre of vodka neat!) Both where very nice guys and we shared neat Russian vodka together.
The days felt very long as we traveled through different time zones, we spent the days reading, sleeping, eating and drinking.
As well as the 2 Maxes we met 2 English people who are also doing the same trip as us very nice people lucky we got chatting to them as we had the arrival time of the train completely wrong. (All Russian trains run on Moscow time so we thought the arrival time was Moscow time too but it was Irkutsk time 5 hours difference, so there I was already in my PJ’s ready for a nice sleep when we where only 4 hours away and we hadn’t packed!)
The train was good fun, we got told off by the conductor guy twice, first cos Herman opened a window to take a picture and the second time I washed my hair in the sink!!
The scenery is really amazing, the little villages in the middle of nowhere – everything covered in snow. FYI when we arrived in Irkutsk it was –12’C!!

Again we will put more pictures on when the internet is a proper speed!
