Hey! We arrived in Pakse yesterday morning after a very long bus ride from Vientiane. We dragged our feet into to a few guesthouses,one that was great but had a ridicoulous resident myna bird that we didn't find cute,especially at that time in the morning. Hello again, We've had the best day in Luang Prabang! Thought it would be difficult to beat yesterday's,but it did! After a late rise,we ventured out to the town for breakfast before grabbing a Tuk-tuk to the Kuang Si waterfalls & bears!(opted out an elephant tour as no doubt we'll see them in India). Luang Prabang is excellent! We arrived last night & we've fallen in love with the place already! First thing we did today was get a couple of bikes and travel around the area.
