Hello We got the fery to wellington where we picked up our hire car. A nice old yoyota corsa, where the ABS brake light keeps coming on and off ove bumps.... hmmm, but the mechanic said its ok. So we have stayed in wellington in an old world war 2 hostel - and its a bit of a dive really - nice house, but unhygienic inside. We went around the city and went to the famous museum - realy good, up to mount victoeris to a look out over the city and then on the red cable car (in the picture above). The city is quite nice, only marred by the hostel really. But its very busy with queues everywhere!! and everyone over here has the same idea of wanting to drive up your backside at 60mph to make u go faster. So we spent a copule of days here and are now going onto palmerston north and then to napier. tata for now
