Today was probably one of the best days I have had on my whole trip. I joined Kerryn and her family on a waterskiing trip to a dam. Kerryn's dad has his own boat and the family have used it to go on many waterskiing holidays when they were younger. However, I had not tried it before and was anxious but excited. We decided to start with tubing as that is easy, anyone can do it and it's so much fun. You do start to feel a bit battered and bruised by the end of a trip though. Then I gave the skiing a go, which was really quite a challenge. You think you are out the water but really you barely get your bum up at first. However on the second trip out on the water I got much better. The problem was that at first you are shocked and surprised at the force of the boat trying to drag you out the water, which you think is the scary bit. Until you are up on the skis and feel as if you are flying across the water at 200mph and that is truly terrifying (realistically you are not even doing a quarter of that speed). The next day though my muscles were telling me I don't normally do such activities and it was quite painful to make any movements, totally worth it though!
