Hi all!!!

Long overdue update to let you all know how i'm getting on. After leaving Brisbane back in november i came back to sydney. Was lucky to get into a flat with some guys i met in brisbie and got a top place in Coogee about 100yards from the beach n over looking the cricket oval.

Had a great time over the festive period, mainy getting drunk - how could anyone expect more from me?? Went on a booze cruise round the harbour on eve and out round town after that. On the day we had a bbq in coogee and went off to Bondi later on to see Judge Jules playing at Bondi Pavillion. Was expecting him to be playing on the beach but not unfortunately. Boxing day was out round town again exploring more of the bars Sydney has to offer, failing that we went to Paddy McGuires. Gave liver a rest after that till new years approached.

Got the call that my camera had been miraculously fixed on 30th so did a 5hr round trip to get it!! Was pleased i did as got some wicked photos on nye. New Years was at the bridge - fireworks were awesome and was a night won't be forgettign in a hurry.

Australia experience is coming to an end soon, gonna be sad to leave as has been my home for the past few months but looking forward to getting on the road again and travelling through SE Asia. I don't know where you get your sources from miguel, will have done well to get from here to there and back again! Must have been my double!!! Will endevour to pull some chick boys for you though and get you hooked up for a place to stay when you get over there!!!! Singapore here i come on 12th anyways!! 3weeks and homeward bound!

UPDATE!!!!! Just released on Chris Smoult's personal website.
The illustrious Chris Smoult has just been spotted leaving a Bangkok bar with a "girl" in extremely bright clothing. Sources close to the said girl (Ding Dong) said rumours that "she" was booked into a clinic for the chop were wide of the mark and the flipping maneouvre was not necessary. I fail to believe these remarks.

Happy 2006! Since you'll be the first of us to see the New Year in, thought I'd catch you early and wish you Happy New Year! Hope you are Ok - it's been a while since we heard from you but I'm sure you're fine and just too busy having a ball to give any of us poor souls in the frozen North a teensy thought!! I'm sure by now you'll have realised that life will never be the same again and when (and if ) you return to the U.K. you'll need to give some serious thought as to where and what the future holds. Sorry! there's your old Auntie getting philosophical but it is something for you to be putting your grey matter into gear about. Hi Everyone!

Been a long time since i posted anything but i'll try and condence everything that's been going on here.

Had a great time in Melbourne & 2weeks there wasn't enought to do all the things i wanted to but had to move on. Sydney was equally good and the harbour was one of the nicest places i've been to so far. Went on the bridge walk on the harbour bridge and got an amazing view from the top of the opera house and the surrounding area. Managed to get up to the Blue Mountains - so named because of the euchaliptus trees but looked pretty green to me. From Sydney flew upto Cairns and made my way down to brisbane from there. Did a diving course in Cairns which was i little weird being back in a classroom after a long absence but got through it and got to dive on the barrier reef a few days later which was an awesome experience. From there took a night bus onto Airlie beach where i boarded my ship for whit sunday sailing. I got on the bus quite drunk and woke up with the hangover from hell - lesson learned! Whit sundays were amazing and as you can see from the photos the sand on whitehaven beach was like snow. Another night bus on to hervey bay after that and onto Fraser island. Had a great time on a self guided surfari, remeinded me of Trek America in a lot of ways so prob why enjoyed it so much. On to Brisbane after that - only a 6hour journey and not the mammoth 12hour ones i did previously - got a new appreciation for how small home is now. Been in Brisie for 2odd weeks waiting for my camera to be fixed now. Gonna head back to Sydney after having to extend my trip here because of this. Hopefully be sorted soon. Pretty much up to date on all the goings on,
