not much to say about montevideo other than great food markets and art stalls and cafes everywhere. i`m a bit b*****d off because my camera stoped working in colonia so i feel like i´m missing an arm but nevermind we still have dee´s camera so it´s not the end of the world. we managed to just stroll across a carnaval through the centre of montevideo. it started off like any other with dancers and all maner of people dressed up and by the end off...

Colonia was a beautiful little city. we hired a motorbike and went round the place looking at lighthouses and old buildings onyl to find out later that the back wheel was compltley flat and we had to change the bike. managed to get a round of golf in as well. brilliant!

Landed in buenos aires on my birthday after 4 flights to get here from the galapagos and it was a quick stop to sort everthing out and head to uraguy the next day. had a really nice chilled out night for my birthday. went out for a cracking meal in a top resturant which was fantastic. also came back to ba after uraguy to watch the boca jr. play a football match where they played a newly promoted team so there were plenty of goals promised... the game finished nil...

T ime to just chill out and take it easy on isabela.we did a bike ride for the first day and then a horse trek to a volcano the second, a boat trip on the third to some tunnels and the 4th was lying on the beach. very nice but time to head back to the main land.

Day 8 getting off the boat... really really sad!!not much happening today other than getting off the boat. we got to watch a big shark swimming around the boat though! the next few days was spent on isabella island and then back to santa cruz for a bit of diving where we saw hammer heads, a golden ray and a pack of mobala rays!!
