Hey everyone, After all the rushing around in China and the very hungover 30 hour train ride to mongolia, Ulaan Baatar was a welcome rest. Not much has happened in Ulaan Baatar, i've been a little bit under the weather, so i haven't done alot at all. All i have done is walk around the city to see some of the sights like the square and the history museum. The weather here has been so strange. It changes all the time, one day we were walking around the city and all of a sudden this huge sand storm hit so we went into the history museum to take shelter and as we were in there it pissed down with rain (oh yeh, as all this was happening my just washed clothes were hanging outside to dry) then the sun came out and it was hot and then on the walk back to the guest house it started to snow. very strange. Not much else to report other than going out one night and getting really quite drunk (again!) and gate crashing some Mongolian birthday party in a night club. I don't think i've seen bigger guys in all my life!! And as we were in there a huge fight broke out which lasted a good 30-45 minutes, watching from a safe distance was quite funny, seeing all these guys ripping the shirts off each others backs. Today we have organised a 10 day trip to the Gobi desert was sounds great, i'm really looking forward to getting out in the country side and riding some camels over the sand dunes and staying with different families in their ger's. There is 6 people going on this trip and there are no showers for 10 days! our van is going to stink!!! Well must be off, got to get ready for our trip tomorrow. speak to you all soon. Christopher
