Day 5 was genovesa and all the birds. even though the map dosen`t show an island i can assure you that there was one there. genovesa (also known as tower) is an island with no land animals on due to there being a 90 foot wall all around it. here we saw our first red footed boobie, not to mention all the other birds there and again loads of sea lions.

Day 4 was back to santa cruz for the giant tortoise. when we were here before we only saw the tortoises in the research centre but this time we got to see them in the wild. i was taking a picture of one looking thorough my camera and all of a sudden my camera wouldn´t focus, i took the camera down and nearly fell over backwards because the tortoise had gotten so close!! it really didn´t care that i was there it just kept on walking past, it was j...

Day 3 and we were on floriana looking for flamingos and a visit to post office bay.again the guides delivered. we saw flamingos, sting rays in the shallws of the water, penguins, sharks and again plenty of sea lions. the post office bay was quite good, tourists post their post cards here and then other tourist who visit post office bay look to see if any live close to where they do and they deliver it by hand. dee has 3 post cards to deliver in dublinwhich is abo...

Day 2  was the island of espanola and the waved albatross. needless to say we got close enough to ride on the backs of these birds and they just really didn´t care that we were there. we also saw masked boobies, blue footed boobies, marine iguanas, and plenty of sea lions.
