Our third day in Fiji now, in a place called Nadi on the west coast. The people here have made us feel very welcome and are always friendly towards us.
We have already stayed with people of 5 different nationalities, including a swiss guy called Rico and three americans who took picture portraits of us for their round the world portfolio. Theres a guy from harlow staying here tomorrow. Small world.
Had some real tropical rainfall today, temperature dropping to a low 25 degrees. The locals loved it; we thought we'd escaped the rain being here, although it was very refreshing. Spent most of the day around the hostel, in the pool and cheering on Fiji in the rugby sevens on tv, with all the local people who had come to watch. Sight of the day was Chris entertaining a group of young Fijians with his trumpet impression! They were amazed!
Going on a day cruise to one of the nearby islands tomorrow. A good day i feel. Will hopefully get some photos up soon.
