Good drive into Dublin,satellite navigation was working fine until we really needed it then started to play up,but eventually found the place and were told we should have gone to the other depot that we had seen on the other side of a canal,should have gone to this one,would have saved a lot of messing around,we still left it at the other depor. Walked into Dublin,had a look at where Marg lived until she was 3 years old Stopped off at a nice pub for a drink then...

In Cleggan now,weather is still very good. Drove to Westport today quite a reasonable size town. Cleggan I s a very small fishing village, pub and a general store attached to pub. Had a few drinks with the locals last night,good time,same again tonight ,just a five minute walk down to the pub Above photo is taken from B&B of the village

Have arrived at the next B&B just outside Galway about 10 minutes drive out from Galway,but GPS took us for about a 1 hour drive in a big circle to come in the back door way. Had to ask an AA service fellow how to get there,he gave us instructions which was spot on. The B&B is fantastic. Just finished a 20 minute walk each way down to the coast and along the promenade to look at a couple of places to eat at tonight

The photo is of my dessert,very lemony mousse with meringue and fruit compote,the mains and Margs dessert were big and delicious. Off to Galway tomorrow morning

Went this morning and looked and walked along part of the Cliffs Moher Very cold and windy,but no rain. Very high and spectacular even though the sea wasn't rough. The visitors centre has been dug into the hillside,very large centre with a restaurant upstairs but still underground,with big windows looking towards the cliffs. Had a look at a couple more pubs to pick out a different one for dinner.
