Finally made it to Quito, the capital of Ecuador after spending most of the day on flights and waiting in airports. Left Rio at 5 in the morning, flew to Sao Paulo, then on to Bogotá, Columbia, waited there for 8hrs and then finally on to Quito, arrived around 11pm and headed straight to the hostel, the Centro del mundo hostel. Did nothing that night except go straight to sleep.

Woke up in the morning and headed out for some breakfast, a bird crapped down my neck, but luckily it was a hard crap so no mess. Ordered a fry which came with lettuce????????????????????? Weirdo's!!Wandered around the city for a wee bit and decided we would head up to the equator which was about 30mins away from the city, asked the guy at the tourist info how to get there and he gave us the most difficult instructions in the world which ended up causing about a million arguments on the way there. Turned out there was a bus that left from the centre we could have got. Finally made it there and walked around the tourist centre and pulled off some more sweet handstands on the equator line. Had lunch there and found a machine that does your weight, supposedly you can weight around 8lbs less on the equator (take note my fat older brother) Brid got hers done but the machine ran out of paper to do mine.Headed back into town on some random bus that annoying didn't go near the centre, luckily some old woman who spoke English took pity on us and told us how to get back into the centre. Brid wasn't feeling to well so we just headed out for some dinner and then headed to bed.

Next day we decided to do nothing exciting, except walk around the town and see some of the sights, Brid´s imagination was running wild at one point as some people were looking up a street, we stopped to look up the street as well, not having a clue what we were looking at. Some woman said something in passing to Brid and not know in any way what she said Brid decided she's said "You'd better get out of here" Where she got this from ill never know but my look of disgust I gave her made her realise maybe she was just going to the shop to buy some fruit!! Brid still isn't feeling well so she went for a safety nap and I went on to the internet for a couple of hours.

Headed out for dinner again and then back to the hostel, going to tena tomorrow, Brids friend Louise and her Boyfriend Ray are also in Ecuador right now so we want to catch up with them.

Some annoying yanks were playing cards outside out door all night, there were so annoying, and most of them speak rubbish!!
