There arn't enough words in the dictionary to describe the beauty of this place. It is just incredible. Around every corner there is new beauty, forest, hills, mountains, streams, lakes, waterfalls, it's just amazing. Culturally i leave the All Blacks, Pies, big guns (the hunting kind), a high Catholocism culture, the wonderful Maori culture, home of the bungi jump and an amazing place for outdoor activities. The bus drivers are tour guides, the villages are sleepy and the history is limited. The poeple are what make it for me though. They are so friendly, open and trusting. Long may it last. I can totally see why people are itching to move here. I will remember my time here fondly, associated mostly with outdoor activites and uttly beauty. For me personally, I have been able to feel the wind in my hair, the adrenalin in my system and warmth in my heart from the kindness of so many. For me I'm ready for a dance now, sunshine and fun is the order of the day (oh it's so terrible being me!). You can take the girl out of the disco but you can't take the disco out of the girl. ha ha Only loud pop music will save me now. Love from Amy - I'm living and most certainly 'alive!'
